"At Lona Pearl we blend historic, antique and unusual materials of the past with foreign and domestic hardwoods, stained glass and tapestries to create beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture – contemporary heirlooms. Modern day antiques.
Lona Pearl was named after the artist, Jim Brown’s grandmother, Lona and great grandmother, Pearl (pictured on the left). Jim was very close to both of them growing up and was inspired by the pieces of their era.
We liberate classic pieces from the past from their hiding places in attics, barns, and basements, and give them a new life.
There is no limit to what we can create… we’ve reengineered cast iron stoves, household elements of brass or ceramic, antique wood, heirloom furniture, copper and brass tanks, piano parts, floor registers, clocks, lamps, beds – the list is endless." - Jim Brown Owner
